round rock convention & visitors bureau
situation
With the potential to host and house large-scale sporting events, Round Rock was meant to be "The Sports Capital of Texas." The challenge? Telling everyone else. Enter: Arsenal Advertising. All branding efforts were required: a new logo, website and messaging were just the start of our sports tourism campaign for the city. For 12 years, we've worked with Round Rock to solidify its status as "The Sports Capital of Texas," providing all branding and assets necessary.
plan of attack
In order to promote the city’s facilities to frequent visitors and fans of youth sports (particularly coaches and tournament planners), we needed to continue highlighting exactly why Round Rock rocks. And a lot of that has to do with their award-winning facilities and surrounding infrastructure.

responsive Website Design
The website is the most dynamic tool Round Rock utilizes to communicate with their audience. We keep it fresh (it has been reskinned twice since its start) and feature custom photography, an up-to-date calendar of events and more.
2016 Visitors Guide
The Round Rock visitors guide is an essential part of the city's marketing. We refresh the design every year to include restaurants, facilities, attractions and any new offerings.
award-winning facilities Campaign
The goal of the "Award-Winning Facilities" campaign was to focus on the championship facilities and outdoor sports fields.
Play Inside Campaign
The "Play Inside" campaign was created to announce the grand opening of the new Round Rock indoor sports center.
Snapchat Filter
Chances are, you have Snapchat and use geofilters to showcase your whereabouts to your friends. We made one to promote Round Rock, and trust us—all the cool kids are using it.
Social Media Videos
We planned and shot a series of social media videos for The Sports Capital's social channels. All videos focus around the simple idea, "See Why We Rock," highlighting the offerings of the town.
